Statue of Equality is a 216-foot-tall statue dedicated to 11th-century social reformer and saint, Ramanujacharya, who promoted the idea of equality in all aspects of living including faith, caste and creed.

The statue will be in a sitting position.

It is composed of ‘panchaloha’, a combination of five metals comprising gold, silver, copper, brass, and zinc.

The statue will be the second-highest sitting statue in the world.

The tallest sitting statue is the Great Buddha in Thailand at 302 ft.

It is mounted on a 54-feet high base building, named ‘Bhadra Vedi’.
